The BRAHMA baritone encapsulates everything we love about the great bullet chamber mouthpieces that define the baritone saxophone in both jazz and commercial music, but with modern playability, projection, and unparalleled responsiveness.
It is an evolution of the classic 1- and 2-baffle Berg Larsen-type baritone sound, enhanced by our innovative Medium-Stadium-Chamber™ for added depth and core tone. The BRAHMA baritone lends itself well to R&B and Soul playing styles with plenty of edge and projection on tap, but with ample depth and warmth for straight-ahead Jazz playing and other styles that require a versatile, neutral tone.
It features tapered inner sidewalls and rollover Shark Gill Baffle™, as well as Theo’s new Medium-Stadium Chamber™, utilizing many of the design cues and innovations found in the popular BRAHMA tenor and soprano models.
Like every Theo Wanne mouthpiece, the BRAHMA baritone is precision crafted and hand faced to ensure a flat table, evenly calibrated side rails, and a perfect tip rail for effortless articulation. It is available in 24k-Gold Plated Brass, or premium vintage-style Hard Rubber with a traditionally shaped body and beak for a familiar feel, and includes our Enlightened (HR) or Liberty (Gold) Ligature and Reed Replacer cap.
