I have been using the THEO WANNE pieces for years, I take them on tours or recordings. It allows me to have a characteristic sound, now I could not get rid of them, I’m sure we will continue together.


Musician, Composer & Educator Peruvian with a recognized career thanks to the modern and stylized sound he has in the saxophone, he plays Alto, Tenor, Soprano, Baritone, Bb clarinet, Traverse Flute, Piccolo Flute and EWI (Midi Wind Instrument) He maintains a career as Sideman and recording musician since 1996 (accompanying and recording for artists in an eventual form) is a professor of the University of Applied Sciences UPC (School of Music) in parallel is tutor On Line of several national and international saxophonists, Has formed for more than 15 years the most representative saxophonists of the Peruvian music scene, placing him as a reference in the Popular, Jazz and Fusion area. His long career leads him to be the first Peruvian Saxophonist chosen to be an artist of: P.Mauriat Saxophones, Theo Wanne Mouthpices, Rico Reeds, Barkley Mouthpieces, Reeds FORESTONE Japan, Beechler / ARB Mouthpieces. His name appears in every official page of the marks along with the most outstanding saxophonists of the world as a reference. He has an active solo career that has led him to record and produce three albums: A Different Day 2007-2009, Backstage 2008, Misajel / Escamilla Project “(recorded in Mexico) 2009, the latter released in a double album titled MISAJEL 2011. His most recent album: A SIMPLE STEP (2015) that has taken him on tour throughout Peru, participating in Jazz festivals in Brazil and Paraguay.
