Andrea Abbadia

Theo wanne is fantastic. When you try the mouthpieces you can’t put it down. It’s love at first sight !! My DURGA is full-bodied on the bass and projects on the highs. It’s very versatile, it can be sweet or bad at the choice of the player.

Andrea Abbadia was born in Italy. He discovered his interest in music at the age 7 beginning the Clarinet studies at the Academy of Music in Italy. Since 2010, he begin to learn jazz, improvisation and saxophone when he start his studies in musicology with music teachers Emilio Silva Bedmar. Over the years he has played in various Italian and he has participated at several Blues Festivals at wind session with music teachers Francesco Izzo (RAI Italian public television Orchestra Trombonist) and Enzo Anoldo (RAI Italian public television orchestra pianist, composer and music arranger of various Italian artists). Since 2013 he began his Jazz course at the Conservatory “San Pietro a Majella di NAPOLI studying the Saxophone with Marco Zurzolo and Giulio Martino music teachers, Improvisation with music teacher Pietro Condonelli and Harmony with music teacher Marco Sannini. From 2014 he moved to the Conservatory of Perugia under the guidance of Mario Raja, Alessandro Bravo and Angelo Lazzari music teachers. In 2018 he obtained his academic degree in jazz saxophone. From 2018 he’s teacher at Music School in Viterbo (Italy). In 2021 his first solo album is scheduled to be released. He has participated in many international festivals among which: International jazz day and International Umbria Jazz festival, Perugia (Italy), year 2016; International jazz day, International Umbria Jazz festival, Castle Jazz festival Marsciano, Perugia (Italy), year 2017.
